WHAT IS THE FIM?

Ms Nita Korhonen, Director of the FIM Women's Commission will introduce you to the FIM. She will present the numerous activities and initiatives developed by the International Motorcycling Federation to promote and increase the presence of women in motorcycling worldwide and will be delighted to answer all your questions.

Mental Training

Mental preparation is important to a successful race as physical training. We will give you an introduction to mental training by an expert in a workshop on the arriving day and will incorporate elements in our daily schedule of the FIM Women’s Training-Camp.

Our partner BMW Motorrad has developed a training program especially for motorcycle riders – Fit 2 Ride will become a part of your daily routine in Qatar, with elements performed in the hotel and at the circuit.

Theory of Riding

Former 500 cc Grand Prix winner Simon Crafar will introduce you to his “Moto Vudu – The Dark Art of Performance”. Very entertaining way of getting more to know about riding on the edge!

Losail International Circuit – The ideal Line

Nina Prinz is one of the fastest women on a motorcycle worldwide. Former European Championship Nina Prinz will show you the Ideal Line around Losail International Circuit in a workshop on the riding day!

Public and Sponsor Relationship

This presentation should give you a good example how to market your racing, your supporters and yourself. Advice will be given, contacts might be exchanged.

Data Recording – How does it make me faster?

Electronics on a modern bike! How to set it up for your needs? What is helpful? Can data give me a clue of getting faster? Learn to use your built-in equipment more efficient! Former GP Rider Jürgen Fuchs will give you an introduction to basics of the BMW S 1000 RR

Coaching on the track

You will be in three groups, according to your riding capabilities! In each group you will have instructors which will help you to find the way around in the first few stints. Later the instructors will be your coaches to improve your riding skills.

It is not a must to ride with them but we are in Losail to reflect on our present riding, adjust our style and improve our performance on the track. It is planned to have video equipment on board on demand for intensive feed- back sessions. Details to follow!
